The short version

• • Our bill audit runs entirely in your browser. The rate and usage you enter are used to do the math on your device — they are never sent to our servers, and we never see them.
• • The only personal information we collect is an email address you choose to give us for rate alerts.
• • We never sell or rent your data, and we take zero supplier commissions.

What we collect, and why

Bill-audit inputs: none are collected. The audit is a client-side tool; your supplier rate, usage, and results stay on your device and are discarded when you close the page.

Email (only if you subscribe): if you sign up for rate alerts, we store your email and the utility you chose so we can notify you when a rate changes or a case is filed. We use double opt-in (you confirm via a link) and every email has one-click unsubscribe.

Basic, privacy-respecting analytics: we may use aggregate, cookieless analytics to see which pages are useful. We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other sites.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share your data with electricity suppliers or data brokers, we don't run intrusive ad trackers, and we never send you to a supplier for a referral fee. We are not a utility, a supplier, or a government agency.
